Job as Java-Developer (M/W/D)

YOUR ROLE AT PSI FLS - WHAT AWAITS YOU:

• Conceptual design of approaches for Fieldforce/Asset Optimization
• Development of optimization algorithms in Java based on the PSI-FLS-AI-Stack
• Result and data visualization as well as development of UX designs
• Enterprise Software Development in an agile team

REQUIRED SKILLS - THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING ALONG:

• Approved knowledge of object-oriented programming with Java
• Confident use of version control systems (GIT, SVN)
• Strong skills in test automation (JUnit-Tests, etc.)
• Analytical, solution-oriented and structured mindset
• Good access to standard algorithms and data structures (sorting, graphs, hashes, trees, etc.)
• University degree with IT focus such as (business) computer science, mathematics, statistics, data science or similar or alternatively an IT Specialist education with relevant work experience in a comparable environment

USEFUL SKILLS - THAT MAKES YOU INTERESTING:

• Professional background from at least one discipline: Operations Research, Data Science, AI or similar
• Knowledge in the Fieldforce/Asset Optimization in the material or energy industry
• Experience in Agile project and team work Experience in agile project and team work
• Confident working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, etc.)
• Helpful skills: SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL), Cloud (AWS, GC, Azure, etc.), CLI (Windows, Linux), UX-Design (Web, Angular), JavaScript/TypeScript
• Other interesting qualifications: Very good German and English skills, App development
